I'm thrilled Autumn is finally here!
The boys picking just the right apples Our little family (Christian is a tad distracted)
This weekend has been a celebration of autumn for our little family. Friday night I brought out my Fall decorations and go to work adding the golds, oranges and reds to our normal home decor. On Saturday we went to Oak Glen, an annual tradition, and ate apple pie, drank cider, and picked apples. The
Hekman crew joined us a little later at our normal meeting spot: the grassy knoll at Los Rios
Rancho. We played and just enjoyed the beauty of the day before heading to their house for dinner and an apple crisp dessert.
Everything is better when someone else has it
Chasing after Christian...not an uncommon sight nowadays
What a handsome man I'm married to!

Matt and Jess are one of the most photogenic couples I know!
I am eagerly anticipating our vacation in Lake Tahoe next week. The
Hekman's will meet us half way through the week and will be staying with us in our timeshare (it is a 2 bedroom condo). We spoke much about our plans for our vacation when we had dinner last night. I fear that this next week leading up to vacation will go far too slow, and our vacation week will go far to quickly. Isn't that always the way?

Saturday was just one of those days that I could not help but be so thankful for all of our sweet blessings. God is so good to us, and has truly blessed our family beyond measure and deserving.
