Last night Danny, Christian and I dressed up and headed to Disney's California Adventure for a safe and fun Halloween celebration. Christian was a little monkey (he got such a kick out of seeing himself in the mirror in his costume). Danny and I were Zookeepers...what else?!
We went on the new 3D Toy Story ride and hardly waited in line at all. It was an absolute BLAST! Danny won, but that is ok. ;-) Christian sat between us and slumped over, expressionless, the entire ride. He was so tired!
After our ride, we hit up the trick or treat stations. You stand in line and hold out your bag to trick or treat. We got yummy treats like Ghiradelli chocolate and M&M's. We also got apple slices, carrots and raisens (which I wrinkled my nose at...I'm saving them for the hoodlems that stop by our house on Halloween). What is fun is that grown ups get to trick or treat too! :-) Since I'm a kid at heart, I had a blast. After Christian fell asleep, Danny and I just enjoyed the park, filling our bags with candy. We then went over to the Grand Californian Hotel lobby. It is so beautiful, and we sat and played a game of checkers (I won that time).
It was such a great night...we could not have asked for a better time. And just think, we get to dress up and play again in one week from today! Yippee!
