Christian and Christmastime

Christian is continuing to get more fun and even more dramatic. Last night I brought out his drumsticks (introduced to him by Uncle Jake...thanks Jake). I showed him how to use them on his drum but only to be used SITTING DOWN (I can foresee many accidents running with pointy wooden drumsticks in his mouth). He enjoyed it for three seconds and decided chewing them while he wandered around was more fun. I took them away and put them inside the drum (you can take off the bottom and store them inside). He grabbed the drum with both hands, looked at the sticks inside and yelled at them in frustration. He did so with gusto and passion. He then put the drum up to his head so he could look at said drumsticks in want. It was HILARIOUS...I couldn't help but laugh at him. (I did give him a second chance but it didn't pan out well...the drum is off limits for a little while.)

Christmastime is proving to be non-stop fun, and I do mean non-stop! I've hardly given my oven a rest, and last night decided to make candy to work out my stove-top muscles. We have exhausted our family members as they've been fantastic baby-sitters for Christian the past few weeks. I just got our cards and pictures in the mail (I was a bit behind this year) and finished signing / addressing 200 cards (150 for church members). I do still have baking to do...I'm thinking gingerbread men next.
