Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree!
Over the past weekend we started our normal Christmas festivities: We attended a church Christmas dinner, Danny put up our lights outside, we decorated our tree (Christian just played with all the ornaments), I did some Christmas crafts and baked Christmas treats, all with the tree lit, holiday music playing and a fire in the fireplace. :-) We have yet to watch our traditional movies for this time of year (among my top favorites are White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life), but that is next on the agenda.
'Tis the season to be baking, fa la la la la la la la la
Yesterday (Monday) Danny and Christian met me at work in Orange County so that we could all head over to Disneyland together. Disneyland ended up closing at 6, so we got to watch the fireworks at 5:45 (which was great...we saw them before dinner!). Confession: watching the fireworks and the snow, and seeing Christian interacting with it all brought me to tears. I cried like a baby...what a sap I am!
Entertained by a breadstick...oh if only this would last!

Tomorrow we are hosting the Church Staff Christmas Party, so I'll be a bit busy tonight preparing. I'll post pics of my Christmas crafts tomorrow, after the party, since they were for the staff members!
