In Honor of Working Mommas

Danny and I both are products of households in which both parents worked full time jobs. We watched our mothers work long, relentless days, to come home to a dirty house, messy kids, and the never-ending demands that are involved with motherhood.

Working moms often deal with guilt when they leave their little ones in daycare. They often work long days / weeks to help support their family. They work to balance their identities of wife, mother and worker bee. Sleep is only a suggestion to these ladies, as their evenings are spent cleaning, cooking, laundry, and catching up on everything that needs to be addressed from the day.

These mommas balance equally stress and guilt on both shoulders. They are mothers, after all, and love their children. They want the best for their children, and work hard to make that happen. Working moms are exceptional people, as they share so much more of themselves than most people. How does one manage to give her heart to her husband and children, her passion and energy to her job, and her strength to her home? Working moms are HEROES.
