My garden is really starting to get going now. I just picked my first pepper, and have more growing. The cilantro is coming in, slowly but surely. My tomatoes are going crazy and I have lots of them working on ripening. :-) Salsa here I come!
My garden is such a blessing. It is a great metaphor for God's provision. I planted the seeds but other than doing my part, I have NO CONTROL over whether or not they take. God knows though. By his grace, the seeds get the sunlight, water and nourishment from the soil that they need. As a result, I have lettuce, beans, carrots, and strawberries growing like crazy.
God knows the needs of the plants, just like He knows our needs. My desire is to trust in His provision, even when I know not the way in which it will come.
