Welcome 2010!

With the wisdom that my old age has brought me, I've determined that a one word resolution is much more profound and obtainable in some shape or form than a mile long list of never-to-be ideals.

Last year my resolution was "less". If you've read my blog over the past year, I certainly lived up to that one. Then again, the "less" seemed to bring about more than I ever anticipated.

This past year it seemed that each time I lived my resolution out, "more" was just around the corner. When I ate less, and in returned weighed less, I then became pregnant and gained more lbs and the sweet and rich blessings of carrying another child. When I was laid off from my job of 10 years, "less" was what we had to do with. We had less by way of finances and resources. However, as we depended on ourselves less, God poured out more blessings than we could imagine. Everything from maternity clothes, clothes for both boys, outside toys for Christian and even food were provided for us. We also were given a financial blessing that allowed us less anxiety every time we looked at our accounts.

Basically, this past year proved that with less of ME there was more room for God to provide. What an incredible year.

My new resolution word is "invest". I hope to incorporate it into each aspect of my life this year, and hope also to report back to you about my investments.
