A week and a half ago, my Grandparents came out from Arizona to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Since they had not yet met Jonathan, and were so close to us, they came and spent some time with us. To say our time together was a blessing is an understatement.
Great grandma Lucas bought Christian a beautiful Curious George book that he absolutely LOVES. It also gave him some ideas to get into trouble that I've had to unteach him. ;-)
This is my grandpa and Christian hanging out at the counter. We got Christian to cooperate with picture taking by using some good 'ol reverse psychology.
On the afternoon that they arrived, my grandparents, the kids and I hung out in the backyard and enjoyed the day. Jonathan enjoyed the grass while Christian rode his tricycle and looked for spiders.
We had a wonderful visit and were so blessed to have been able to host these incredible people. We love you Grandma and Grandpa (GG) Lucas!
