...Then Comes Marriage

January 8, 2005.  I rolled out of  bed, and whispered with a grin "I'm getting married TODAY!"  All those years of dreaming, waiting, and the 13 months of planning, and it all came down to this one day.  I walked down the aisle, tears spilling down my cheeks, to the love of my life.

I handed my True Love Waits ring to my handsome hubby, symbolizing the fact that I waited only for him.  The remainder of the day was the best of my life, shared with the most important people in my life.  We had a fabulous honeymoon in Manhattan, NY, staying at the Waldorf Astoria.

I had plenty of friends that didn't wait for their spouse.  There are plenty of people that "play house" with one foot out the door.  The best thing about waiting is the fun and freedom that comes with marriage.  There is no insecurity that if you wake up looking less-than-perfect your man is going to leave.  Fights don't lead to fear of "the end" but instead comfort in knowing that "making up" is on the horizon.  :-)

Be the woman that would attract the kind of man that you want, and you will be the epitome of the Proverbs 31 woman.

'Bloom' has been a joy.  Thank you for walking on this journey with me.  Blessings!
