Cheap Entertainment

I have to admit, when Christmas came out at Costco in October, deep down inside I was a little bit excited.  I was even more excited when the boys and I discovered the Nutcracker Music Box.

Every time we went to Costco after said discovery we made a stop on the aisle with the music box, pulled out our snacks (the kids' graham crackers or lollipops, a sample for me), and watched a few acts of the Nutcracker.

This music box is the coolest I've ever seen.  At the end of each song, the curtains close and then reopen to a new set.  My heart was delighted when I saw this, as when I was younger I was able to see a professional production of the ballet several times.

If you are pinching pennies this Christmas, stop by your nearest Costco and catch a show.
