I know, I know, you are probably saying "What, more MONTANA posts?! Sheesh girl, move on to your Christmas baking, projects and decorations, already!" Believe me, they are in the queue. I just have one more post, I promise....I think.
I just wanted to share with you some of the breathtaking views I enjoyed on my trip. It is something like the Dickens' Christmas Carol.
The Ghost of Cabin Past (almost)
This is the view out of the window of the Lincoln (aka "Christmas") Cabin. It is currently for sale, so I probably won't be having coffee and enjoying this view again. |
Danny is saying good-bye to the view as well. |
My parents have had a vacation cabin in Lincoln, MT for a few years, and it is for sale currently. However, their current residence is NOT for sale (contrary to the stories in the local gossip paper). And so, the following view will be enjoyed for many years to come.
The Ghost of Cabin Present
Looking out from the front porch of the Andy Creek House, I never grow tired of such beauty |
And now for The Ghost of Cabins Yet to Come (escrow closed November 30, 2010)
The view from one of the large picture windows of the "Cabin" in Seely Lake |
Yes indeed, my parents currently have three homes. It isn't intentional that they've started such a collection. They are working on remedying the situation, but for now it is just comedic.
The happy new owners of a vacation "Lake House" |
We did quite a bit of driving on this trip, and enjoyed some of the most picturesque views one could imagine. I always feel at ease, and even at home, when visiting Montana. It could be the untouched beauty of God's country, and it could simply be the opportunity to share my days with the world's most generous of hosts.
My dear parents, thank you. For everything.
