Slip Covered

Imagine for a moment a couch, lumpy, worn down, stained.  A battered mess.  Yes, one could completely gut it, reupholster and make it new again.  But that takes time.  So, until the full re-finish can be completed, a slip cover hides the mess.  The mess is still there, but at least it is easier to cohabit the same space with for the time being.

For the past few months, I've been that couch.  I'm working on the reupholstering part, but it is going to take some time.  Thanks for your patience, friends and fellow bloggers.
