My dear little Jonathan just figured out that he can climb into the rocking chair in his room. Over and over he would climb in, grinning ear to ear and laughing once sitting (and rocking) like a big boy. But when it came time to climb down, instead of the way he normally climbs down from high up places, he would fall face first. Over, and over, and over again.
Isn't this how we can be? So often we focus on the effort, the prize, the view, and forget about the "what happens next". Brides are notorious for this. So are college students.
Obviously, the "after" may not end up the way we plan / anticipate, but it isn't a half bad idea to have a blueprint. At the very least, it can save you a bump on the head.
