We have a local Pottery Barn Outlet that we visit a couple times a year, generally for their after-Christmas sales. They have great quality merchandise, and when you catch a good sale it is a STEAL. (They also have FAB-U-LOUS Williams Sonoma wine glasses).
When shopping this past January, we came across these white 10" by 10" dinner plates...heavy duty china style. They are dishwasher / microwave safe (which is more than our other dishes), plus they look absolutely amazing when plated with an appetizing morsel (or more) of the gourmet food I've been trying out lately. When looking at them and considering the price, I didn't have to think too long...they were SIX plates for $9.97! After getting them home, after unpacking them we saw that they each had a price tag on them of the price we got them for. That's right, it was a buy one get FIVE free sale. Not too shabby!
We went back and bought one more set.
Hey, you never know when you'll need an extra plate or two...or twelve.
