Ok, so let's face it. After almost 4 years of pregnancy, nursing, recovering and then doing it all over again, my body has not been what it once was. For the period between babies, I tried dieting and working out, with little progress (10lbs lost total). I worked out when pregnant with Jonathan to try to avoid any additional weight gain, but after bedrest and post-baby recovery, I lost my steam. I fell off the horse. I discovered Pioneer Woman and her amazing brownies. And then I saw pictures....
I started un-tagging me from Facebook pictures that I was in for fear of people seeing what I had become. I avoided seeing people because I just didn't want them to judge me. The final straw was when I went to visit my former roommate and her family and left their house utterly embarrassed.
That day I signed up for Weight Watchers and haven't looked back. I'm now down 16lbs and am at my pre-Jonathan weight! I'm making better food choices, working out, and finding that clothes that were once snug are far too big. This is a great feeling and can't wait to continue to share the journey with you!
