Absence Makes the Heart Fonder

I've slipped, fallen, and have had a heck of a time standing back up.

It all started with four molars.  Jonathan has been cutting them for 3 months.  His sleep patterns have reflected this.  Christian has had growth spurts in which his legs ache in the middle of the night.  He also has bad dreams.  I sleep little these days.  And I slip.

Personal challenges in life, ministry and family have all lent themselves to much introspection and writing of thoughts that cannot be published on the web.  And so, I fall from blogging into a cloudy, introspective world.

With these incidents I've decided that the best way to cope is to nap.  And to eat cookies.  Too many cookies.  And five pounds later, getting up is difficult.  My muscles are weak and legs flabby.

Thank you for grace with me.  I'm sure my brief absence has made your hearts all the fonder.  Right?  Right?!

During my year of insomnia I remember thinking "why is it that something so vital as sleep is SO hard to come by????"

love you sis! Praying you get the sleep you need to restore peace to your body :)
