Thanksgiving Blessings

We had a rough night with Christian last night...probably because he was slightly cold (it was 11 degrees this morning). After I double jammied him he slept better.

Today is one of my favorite days of the year. After all, it is the day that we can all join together with our loved ones to celebrate all that we have to be thankful for while we eat yummy food! Last year Jake had just graduated boot camp and I hosted Thanksgiving in our new home with our new little baby. This year we are in Montana, and Jake is in the field.

If you are reading this, you are most likely one of the many people who have colored my life in a way that has made it more vibrant and lovely. I am so thankful for all of you. I am thankful for family members who encourage, support and love me through all of my "uglies". I am so grateful for servicemen and women who sacrifice spending special days like today with their families to help defend our freedoms. I am thankful for our health...there are so many people who have terminal or debilitating illnesses that keep them from experiencing life the way I do. I am thankful for a warm home, a pantry full of food, and safety. There is so much more to be thankful for, these are but a few items that will make it on my list today.

Be sure to appreciate the little things today, and keep in your prayers those who can't be with their families today for one reason or another. Keep in prayers also those in Mumbai who are victims of the evils of terrorism.

Blessings to you and yours.

With all my love and thanksgiving,

Jolene Grace Flores
