Playing Make Believe

Christian recently has begun to really play make believe. He will use his tools to "fix" things (which is okay except when he is using his hammer on the mirror), and "cooks" in the kitchen with me. He takes bowls and cups and pours them into each other and then stirs them up. Yesterday he threw everything out of his drawer and pulled out the liner. The following image is what I saw...
Christian took out the drawer liner in "his" kitchen drawer and made believe it was a changing pad and told me "poo poo momma"

So how could I not play along and pretend to change his diaper? I used a squeeze bottle for pretend powder as he smiled. Now why can't he cooperate like this when he actually does have a diaper for me to change?

He also has a pretend ice cream cone that he will pull out daily to snack on, and a few days ago started to "blow bubbles". I just had to catch both on a little video...

I am loving how Christian is reminding me to take moments in my day to be a kid again. I hope you all get the same opportunities...they make life so much sweeter. :-)
